The Courtyard Fine Art Lounge Terms & Conditions
All orders are deemed as a binding contract taken up between the sales consultant on behalf of The Courtyard Fine Art Lounge and the client. Once the client has placed a minimum of a 25% deposit on any item it is promised to the client for a period of 42 days or 6 weeks from the date of original purchase subject to availability. In some cases The Courtyard Fine Art Lounge may require a larger deposit on items that we deem rare or original.
It is the duty of the sales consultant dealing with the sale to notify the client when the item(s) are ready for collection. The Courtyard Fine Art Lounge require appropriate forms of contact in order to complete their service but will not share your information with any outside parties. The Courtyard Fine Art Lounge will contact the client regarding news and events that are deemed appropriate to the client unless the client requests otherwise. The client has the option to unsubscribe at any point.
This 42 day or 6 week time period includes the time required for delivery into store if the item is not already in our possession and includes time required for special arrangements such as frame changes where possible. This also includes the time taken to book the View at Home service and receive this service. During periods in which the gallery may be closed for annual holiday the 42 day or 6 week period will continue to run and The Courtyard Fine Art Lounge ask clients to make arrangements to organise their payments, viewings and collections accordingly.
If the full balance has not been cleared and the artwork has not been collected within this time period we will release the items for sale and your account will be credited. The client will not be entitled for a refund on any monies paid up to this point. If the client decides not to move forward with the purchase at any point from the first to the 42nd day, a full refund will be issued.
Once the client is in receipt of the piece they will have a further 7 days from collection to return the item(s) if the item(s) is inappropriate or is unsatisfactory providing the item(s) are in manufacturers condition and may still be eligible for a full refund. After this 7 day period no monies will be offered upon return.
